STANDARD CONCRETE DRIVEWAY & FOOTPATH MIX
Your new driveway should be a minimum of 25-mpa (strength) with F72 reinforcing mesh at 100mm thick. This is known as a 25-10-80 mix, 25mpa concrete strength 10mm aggregate size with an 80 slump for workability.
CONCRETE RAMP
This standard concrete ramp is made using a standard 25mpa concrete and SL72 mesh. Down one side of the ramp we created a small upstand/wall to direct runoff water. The concrete ramp incorporates a formed edge creating a retaining wall on the left side.
STANDARD CEMENT DRIVEWAY
Cement driveways come in all shapes and sizes this one in Belair was steep and done with 25mpa using sika RAD48S synthetic fibre as the reinforcing mesh. Fibre Mesh reinforcement is a great time saver and on the right job can create a hassle-free flow on the day of poring, many local councils use it in their work.
STANDARD CEMENT DRIVEWAY FADE
Your Drive will fade to a very pale grey which is significantly lighter than the greenish grey that concrete is when it is first laid. This can be an attractive colour in the right setting.
SAW CUT CONCRETE DRIVEWAY
Often used in commercial situations and now very common with exposed aggregate, saw cutting joints can create a clean modern look.
